Stay
healthy on the airplane Travel Comfortable offers you
a choice:
"Prevention is better than the cure" As a retired Flight Attendant, I am fully aware of the discomforts of long-haul flying. Aircraft have become larger so carry more passengers and now have the ability to make longer direct flights. It is not
always possible to walk around the airplane as is often suggested by
the experts. Also, there is the added danger of
'clear air turbulence'
which can occur at any
time during the flight and can cause unnecessary injuries.
Deep Vein
Thrombosis is an abnormal process of clotting in the deep veins of the body. The
condition is serious, potentially fatal and very difficult to diagnose by
external examination. Many on -going studies are being done on this problem but
it does appear that inactivity is a contributing factor.

you feet on it and rock back and forth. It folds flat for easy storage in hand
luggage or airplane seat pocket.

"I have just flown for a
total of 30 hours in the past week, the Flight Socks were just great, no leg
soreness or swelling and they just look like a normal sock"
SKINS -
For Travel and Recovery
"I've been wearing the skins for the last nine months," says all-conquering Australian cricket captain Steve Waugh, who no longer gets on a plane without them. "They've made a huge difference." Lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear,
Jetskins have
been designed to wear during flight to help alleviate the risk of developing
deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in healthy passengers. Jetskins are also great to wear while
sightseeing when you are on you feet all day. They will reduce tiredness by
increasing circulation and removing toxins. They are also excellent for
sports recovery NB: Passengers with existing medical conditions, particularly with a history of DVT or at High Risk may need prescribed compression stockings and should consult their doctor before flying.
PLEASE NOTE - If your height/weight falls on a borderline it is recommended you opt for the smaller size.
